The Madison Square Park fountain was originally dedicated in 1867, replaced by a reproduction in the late 1990s, and finally restoration and updated with a more historically accurate reproduction in 2015. The 2015 renovation was developed in order to correct several corrosion, water spray, and plumbing issues that were not previously addressed.
Delta Fountains provided the equipment and mechanical instruction necessary to combat mechanical corrosion and create a higher spray, which more accurately reflects the original fountain’s spray. Today’s visitors to Madison Square Park can view the historic fountain in its most historically accurate reproduction to date.
