St. Augustine, FL
When the new Admissions and Financial Aid Center, Hanke Hall, opened in 2012 the students were welcomed with a timeless reminder of their mark on the City. The 30-foot long mosaic fountain sits in the Hall’s courtyard. While the design was created by Callie Cheney, it took a team to create this piece of art. The team of 16 graphic design students at the college worked to take Cheney’s design from paper to tile. Thousands of colored tile were broken to create this piece.
Delta Fountains worked with the Hauber Flower and Associates and the student team to provide a classic, tube-style scuppers that sit below the mosaic St. Augustine skyline. For more information on the mosaic design and process, visit the Flagler College student article here.
