The multi-tiered fountain at St. Vincent’s Hospital includes a wide variety of displays and technologies. Delta Fountains provided the electrical designs, mechanical design, and the equipment for this massive water feature.
The giant spray ring, driven by a 40-horsepower pump, can send the water over 30 feet high and ramp up and down via a computer program in the control panel. Each subsystem, including the foam, pod jet and pop jet nozzles that dance in the various pool levels, is also part of this sophisticated program.
In addition, five pneumatic water cannons in the upper pool are programmed to fire in 15-minute intervals. The entire fountain is internet accessible, to allow troubleshooting and seasonal programming to be accomplished without a physical service call to the job-site.
