Legacy Park is one of Oklahoma’s most elaborate park revitalization projects. The $6.5-million-dollar project took over 2 years to complete. The new park sits in the heart of the University North Park shopping district. It features a one-acre pond encircled by a promenade, running trails, a nearly 1,000-person amphitheater and stage, and houses room for future water-side restaurants. Delta Fountains designed, manufactured, and programmed the water cannons, scupper features, fountain lights, and water show programming for the pond water feature.
When dusk falls, visitors to the amphitheater seating along the pond’s east bank are entertained by Legacy Park’s light and water show. The RGB LED fountain lights are hidden among the custom-designed water cannons in the pond while Delta’s Open Tube Scuppers spill out of stone pillars surrounding the pond’s western bank. The video below shows Delta’s programmers testing the water show before the opening on September 16, 2015.
