Fiberglass Equipment Vault, Clam Shell Design

A Clam Shell Subterranean Vault is fabricated from heavy-duty fiberglass, and engineered to include a large variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. An access hatch at the top provides easy entrance to the vertical-style vault. Like all Delta Fountains’ vaults, the Clam Shell Vault may be custom fabricated specific to the client’s needs or job specifications.

Typically Clam Shell Vaults are used instead of the standard Subterranean Equipment Vaults or the Low Profile Equipment Vault in cases where available space is limited or in order to meet certain depths that other vaults cannot.
