Automatic Bag Filter System

Delta Fountains offers an Automatic Backwashing Bag Filter System capable of catching particles as small as 25-microns.  Our fountain bag filters are stainless steel constructed with a wing nut lid, stainless steel baskets, and integral backwashing controller.  They include a pancake style compressor sized proportionally for pneumatic backwash cycling.

The debris is evacuated from each filter vessel and backwashing cycle by a charge of compressed air. The complete backwash cycles shall be no more than 20 seconds per vessel (utilizing compressed air, not water) to evacuate debris in each filter canister. Bag filters and compressors should be mounted in Equipment Vaults or Mechanical Rooms.
