Dechlorination Tank

A Dechlorination Tank is used to dechlorinate treated water to virtually non-detectable levels. To do this, the tank uses a gravity-feed type dechlorination system. Within the tank, all the components involved are aligned in a way that allows gravity to do its job until the dechlorinated water reaches a pre-existing sanitary system pipe or storm sewer pipe. At that point, the water is safe to release into either system. 

The tank itself is a 5’x6′ Subterranean Equipment Vault with Tile Set Hatch modified to hold the dechlorination system components. They’re typically able to be housed beneath the fountain’s dry deck or pavers. For more information about this system, contact us today.
